Review: I recently called Fireglow to order flashing and some pipe which they put aside with my name on it. I checked on the prices before a 2 1/2 round trip drive each way. When I got there I was overchaged about double the going rate. for example the flashing they put aside I was told cost $107. when rung up it was $144.39. I was upset. then he offered 5% discount. I am a TEN YEAR CUSTOMER OF FIRE GLOW. The prices I paid were 30-50% higher and quoted on the phone AND 20% OVER FULL RETAIL LIST PRICES of these items. FOR EXAMPLE the Selkirk Metalbestos 8T-CT 8-Inch Stainless Steel Round Top I paid for was $179.25 It is listed on [redacted] for 73.29 discounted from a list price of 123.99! Likewise a 3 section of Selkirk 208036 8"x36" Stainless Steel Pipe/lock Band is listed on [redacted] for $125 shipped! List $170!. Fireglow sharged me $308.00! Finally, When I had to return to change a part (another 2/**) trip the woman (40ish long brown hair) at the front desk could not have been more rude- for no reason. When I asked how a particular part worked she muttered nastily "I have no frigging idea. I have never read the instructions- you do it!" I had to call for one of guys to come out of the wharehouse just to be nice and help.

I just don't get it. I have been a good 10 year customer - and I feel ABUSED! This isn't "making a profit"- this is a wholesale ripoff with a healthy dose of rude behavior on top.

$170Desired Settlement: Parts have been installed. Perhaps there was a "mistake" in how I was charged. I would like a $300 refund BACK to List or regular prices. If Fire Glow on quoting one prioces similar to [redacted] or other retialers and THEN NOT honoring them when a 10 year customer drives 21/2 hours then so be it. I WILL INSIST THAT THIS COMPLAINT BE LISTED AS UNRESOLVED IN THE Revdex.com SYSTEM!
