All these posts from Findagrave contributors going on about how hard they work harvesting graves makes my French butt tired. These people live on Findagrave because they r addicted. There is also a certain sense of satisfaction sticking their noses in other peoples business. What they really need is professional help and a long vacation from Findagrave.
U make a memorial for a loved one. Findagrave in turn gives it to one of their
top troll contributors. Consequently u forfeit any control to what u created. Some people collect stamps. Findagrave trolls
collect dead bodies. Way too much drama.
Unfair Removal of photos and flowers on Memorial Tributes!
It’s ongoing everyday, they remove my photos, flowers and everything as a Tribute to my deceased loved one’s!
I’ve made contributions which I’m sorry, I did! At this point I’d like to remove my beautiful Memorial Tributes’ because
Find a Grave’ has lack of respect for both the family and deceased! Tired of the discrimination and the daily sabotage
of all the above mentioned! Nevertheless.. no one really looks up Find a Grave’ anyway.
I feel an injustice has been repeatedly, by done to them. Fed up with their ridiculous rules. It’s just nonsense!
Their lack of regard for supporters feelings, never ceases to amaze at this point!
FindAGrave lures unsuspecting people Into their tangled web of deceit with the promise of creating a "free" online virtual Memorial in memory of a deceased loved one. After the product is finished the creator is booted of the pictures and replaced with one of FindAGrave's major contributors.
Once in the power seat these so called experts trash the Memorial with info swiped from the net - time sensitive data not limited exclusively but may include previous marriages, ex spouses, children biologjcal
and otherwise, gender reassignment, church affiation, annual income - that sort of thing.
After all info is catalouged most of it is sent to LSD aka Mormon Church in Salt Lake City. Yes, FindAGrave is run by Mormons who take genealogy seriously. It earns them Brownie points to get them into heaven.
So what becomes to your file ? it is used for a variety of things ranging from rebaptizing the dead into the Mormon faith through a strange ritual with a Mormon Bishop presiding to marketing; or just archieved for general use.
If you don't like the posture here too bad. All you were promised was a "free" memorial. Get used to it. Nothing is free in this life. If u complain too much your account will be suspended; or depending what mood they are in you could be banned and threatened with legal action.
I am 75 years old and have been banned twice from FindAGrave. The1st time was about ten years ago when I went round and round with one of FindAGrave's experts on where my Grandparents r buried. (I was in the room when OMA died, I closed her eyes and signed the death certificate. Personally, not to pat myself on the back but in this scenario I know a bit more than one of FindAGrave:s bozos.)
The second ban was about 3 weeks ago I asked a Megan Heyl to turn my parents , grandparents and an infant son that I initially
created back to family members or remove the smutty tabloid kind of data Megan Heyl added . Megan Heyl refused. When I protested FindAGrave banned me and threatened legal action for stalking Megan Heyl.
May I again reiterate I am 75 years old and not afraid of FindAGrave or Megan Heyl. Furthermore I am not.impressed with Megan Heyl's letters from a medicore 4 year Michigan college
One thing that amazes me is FindAGrave's rationale to justify all the snooping... They
r only helping. When I was in kindergarten centuries ago there was such a thing called protocol. If you needed to use the bathroom
you raised your hand and asked. Despite what FindAGrave say manners have never gone out of style. U just don't do it on the floor and expect someone else to clean it
up. So you have more time to chalk up yet
another memorial hoping to make the million mark.
