Financial Plaza Cleaners

Review: On 07/27/13 at 11:22:04 AM, my husband dropped off some clothes at Financial Plaza Cleaners. The total was $21.10. On August 3, 2013, my husband and I went to pick up the clothes and drop off more clothes. At that time, the bill was $21.10. My husband paid $15.00 cash and had a remaining balance of $6.10. The owner, Mr. Chang Bae, wrote on the receipt that $15.00 was paid and that my husband had a $6.10 balance. On Wednesday, 08/7/13 at 3:13:58 PM, my husband went back to the Financial Plaza Cleaners to pick up the clothes that he left and to pay the remaining balance and the current charges of $6:44. When he went to pay, the owner, Mr. Bae charged him the full $21.10 plus the $6.44. He told Mr Bae that he had already paid $15.00 cash and that he only needed to pay $12.54. My husband didn't have the receipt that stated that he had paid $15.00 cash. He did not argue with Mr Bae and told him he or his wife would be back with the receipt. I went over to Financial Plaza Cleaners today, 08/09/13 with the receipt that Mr Bae wrote that the balance remaining is $6.10. I presented Mr. Bae with the receipt and he said he did not remember and refused to refund me the $15.00. My husband and I try to give small business owners our business. We know how hard it is for the small business owners to make it out there, but the way Mr Bae conducted himself today; not recognizing that we over paid him - that is just sneaky and dubious on his part. Owners like him do not deserve the business from anyone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. MR. BAE SHOULD NO BE TRUSTED WITH THE CARE OF YOUR CLOTHES. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIS ESTABLISHMENT AND I HOPE HIS BUSINESS FAILS. HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE DOING BUSINESS IN OXNARD!Desired Settlement: I WANT MY $15.00 BACK.
