I was billed twice for the same biggest loser competition at Final Round. The cost of the biggest loser competition was $315.00 for which I paid on January 2, 2020. On January 4, I was billed again for $315.00 for the biggest loser competition. I addressed my concerns with the owner Jason S. I have been asking to be refunded the money as I never agreed to purchasing 2 challenges. That is ridiculous. He finally decided credit my "*** Account" however will not refund the money to the credit card. It's unacceptable to think I will take a credit when he doubled billed me and it was his mistake. I have tried to talk to him and he refuses to engage in any meaningful conversation. He has full control over the accounts and has the ability to provide a proper refund for his mistake and has chosen not to.
Her account was credited by mistake on our part as were new to the operating system that we have for our business. We then attempted to refund the members credit card and she had cancelled that credit card but had not provided us with that info until we had already processed the refund. She was informed that we processed the refund, she said she canceled the cc, we cannot cancel a refund and at the current moment we are stuck waiting to see if the refund will be rejected and then we can issue a cheque to her. From my understanding and what I was told by the bank is that what might happen is the refund may go to her new credit card as long as it’s with the same credit card provider. She was informed of this and said that was fine and she would wait.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, I will need to wait to see if the refund comes through on my credit card so I would like to leave this complaint open till I have received the funds.
