Final Cleaning Sewer and Drain

Review: A serviceman from Final Cleaning Drain and Sewer, Inc. came to my house to repair our clogged sewer line on Thursday, December **. I informed the repairman of our issue and he proceeded to get his equipment after clearing the way to the sewer in the laundry room. He brought in a snake machine and ran the device a couple of times but was unable to clear the drain. When he said the drain couldn't be cleared with the snake, he proposed that I use the $1700 water jet to have the drain cleared. Initially I agreed but after speaking with my mother we decided we should find a less costly route to have our sewer cleared. The following week when I requested that Roto Router come take a look at the drain with a video camera, the repairman said he couldn't run the camera unless the drain was clear. For about $400, he said he would run his snake machine to see if the drain could be cleared. With one attempt, the repairman from Roto Router was able to clear the drain. Although I was relieved that the drain was clear, I was annoyed that Roto Router was not my first choice. Moreover, I wondered what stopped the repairman from Final Cleaning Drain and Sewer, Inc. from repairing our drain. I suspect that the repairman didn't attempt to really address the issue and wanted me to go for the more expensive option.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $105. The repairmen can keep the $50 charge for moving equipment out of the laundry room, where the sewer pit was located.
