Dear Sir:
In response to your letter of 10/27/14, ID [redacted], we are very concerned with the issues
raised by our customer regarding his recent purchase from our dealership. We have contacted
the...
customer and assured him the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and the oil changed prior
to his purchase; copies of our service records were provided. We encouraged him to have the
vehicle checked for any operating conditions he feels are not normal at a Ford dealership of his
choice If repairs are needed that are not cover by the customer’s service contract, he was
informed we will consider bearing the expense, in part or in full depending on the findings of
the repair facility
Our dealership throughout its’ 90 year history, places customer satisfaction foremost in our
business practices. Every effort will be made toward resolving any vehicle quality issues and
ensuring exceptional customer service.

Review: Purchased a 2012 Ford Mustang from the used car lot on Aug. 18, 2014. Price was good for us, traded in a car on it. We were told by the salesman that if we had any issues to call and they would fix it. Well, at test drive the brakes felt spongy and the front end is all over the road. Asked to be fixed, was told they would. Called a few times, went there to see salesman, ended up speaking to head of the used car dept. He is the one who set up the appointment to be fixed, took car there and was told they couldn't work on a Ford to take it to a Ford dealer...out of our pocket cost for this. Well, paying $17,000. plus an extended warranty insurance, I feel they should have lived up to their responsibility. Or paid for a Ford dealer to fix it. I have a bad feeling that this car was wrecked at one time and not turned in to insurance so it wouldn't show up on car fax. It has been repainted(0ver spray on windshield and other places) We wanted the car but got rushed into the sale so fast it made our heads spin. Seems like they wanted rid of this car fast. The extended warranty will not cover what is wrong because it's not a warranty issue. This should have been fixed before it was sold. It hadn't even been detailed for the public when we tested it. But we told salesman all this before we bought it. We want it fixed and fixed right. They were rude about going to a Ford dealer, said they had no record of the extended warranty we purchased. When I got upset about it, the service manager asked me to leave and not come back..they got our money, now won't take care of the car. They should pay for a Ford dealer to fix it not us. Never go back again. Also told us the oil was changed..NOT! Have contacted an attorney in case this doesn't help. Please do what you can.Desired Settlement: We want this car to be right. If they won't fix it then they should make an appointment with a Ford Dealer and pay for all expenses to make it the way it should be. We would be good with that, but no out-of-pocket expense on our end. It shouldn't have been sold if it had issues they weren't going to deal with. The front end is so loose and all over the place and getting worse, spongy brakes. Needs fixed but not by them!
