Misleading marketing practices using fake USPS package delivery slips. The phone number to reschedule delivery goes directly to their sales department to get you signed up for a water quality test.
We appreciate your concern and would like to address it for clarification. The postcard is simply a way of letting homeowners in our area know that we have a package on hold for them. This package contains a gift and a water test, these details are explained upon the call coming into our office. If the homeowner wants the gift, we will set the appointment to deliver it. If they do not, we will notate that and refrain from any further offers. Again, we thank you for taking the time to address your concerns, and hope that this helps you see the intention of our card. Best Regards.
We had a salesman, Wade B, come out to our home in May 2019 with the typical salespitch BS. We, wanting everything as pure and natural as I can get it, were excited. And stupid. So we jumped in. Shortly after, the installer came out - Tyler D. He seemed very incompetent as he stayed on the phone most of the time he was there asking questions and getting instructions on how to do the installation. I told my husband this must be his first installation and I couldn't understand why he was there solo.
In September 2019, at about the same time, my husband noticed water leaking on the outside of the house and I noticed it inside near the sink. My husband attempted NUMEROUS TIMES, over and over, to contact Mr. B. He was very easy to get in touch with when he was trying to sell us something but now he wouldn't respond. We called a plumber ON THE WEEKEND to come out and fix whatever was going on to stop the leak. But the damage had been done.
So Craig continued to try to get in touch with Mr. B. Nothing. We tried to figure out what to do. It took a little time before we started realizing how much damage had been done. Around December, Craig told me, CALL A LAWYER! But this was around Christmas, things were crazy, we were headed to MS soon, and he didn't have much time available to meet with an attorney as he was finishing up his job and starting a new one.
Last week, I though I'd attempt to call Wade one last time. SURPRISE SURPRISE he answered me. Because he didn't have my number in his phone, I'm sure. GOTCHA. His first sentence was, "Oh, is something else going on besides the leak??" He then proceeded to tell me he never got ANY messages from my husband - no phone calls, no emails, etc. Then how did he know about the leak? COME ON! He said he had since left the company and gave me the contact information for his replacement. He also informed me that the installer was fired shortly after our installation because the hotel he was staying at - I'm guessing paid for by Fidelis - contacted Fidelis and advised he had trashed the room and they found drugs. Mr. B stated that it wasn't his first installation, but I probably thought it was because of how he was acting - he was more than likely high. Nice.
So, Craig contacted his replacement, Jeff L. He was not pleasant at all. Great customer service, Fidelis!!! He was obviously aggravated that we had contacted him on his personal number (the only number Mr. B had given me). Well, you know what, Mr. L? We are aggravated our floor and cabinets and walls are ruined! He gave us a number to call for service.
I contacted that number and explained what had happened. The following day, two very nice young men - plumbers/employees of Fidelis - were sent out to FIX A LEAK. There is currently no leak and is not what I told Fidelis when I called! There is massive damage that we want fixed!!! The men agreed that this was caused by the system and that Fidelis should be responsible. One of them sent out a company-wide message asking someone to contact Craig immediately. Someone did. Mike - whoever that is - was very rude and is obviously not versed in Texas law and doesn't know anything about statute of limitations for property damage and breach of contract. He said they would not do a thing because we waited so long to contact them. That's what you think, Mike! Craig said I want to talk to Marvan (CEO)! Mike told Craig he would NOT give him the number to the CEO of the company although Craig simply asked him to have Marvan call him.
Two days later, today, Craig got a phone call from a woman with Fidelis again stating they will do nothing because we waited so long.
So, I have contacted a lawyer and here we go. All we wanted is to get our damage repaired. The plumbers told us there is already mold and very likely it is in the air. So, that's lovely. We tried to be nice about it, but honestly I don't feel like being nice anymore. The longer this is not fixed, the more damage we're gonna have. I HATE FIDELIS AND RUE THE DAY WADE B EVER BROUGHT HIS SKETCHY SALESPITCH AND HIS SKETCHY COMPANY INTO OUR HOME. We will not go gentle into that good night! We are prepared to do everything within the legal system to have this made right.
While we empathize with your situation we cannot take responsibility for damages that we were not aware of in a timely fashion. As conveyed by our staff had you called in to our emergency number we would of been able to respond appropriately to your issues. By having a tech come down and check the system in a timely fashion, who would have stopped the leak, assessed the damages and prevented further complications. However, that is not the case in this situation. Since a third party was brought in to fix a leak we did not know about, we cannot ascertain exactly what occurred and or why. Since damages were not assessed at the time the leak was first noticed back in September and was left untreated, there are further complications we cannot take responsibility for. Our emergency number is posted on every refiner installed. This number is provided along with a 24 hour 7 days a week emergency service for all our customers and should be utilized when a problem first arises.
Sent me a phishing attempt a piece of mail stating that they possessed my missing parcel and this was my final notice to receive it. When I called, they offered me a free gift card. "To get the gift card, you have to schedule a water test with Fidelis Plumbing".
Hello, the post card is a method used to reach our neighbors who have recently moved into the areas we service. We send this out so we can share some valuable information regarding the water quality in their area and to provide options to customers they may not be aware of. The package on hold is a gift for the home owner to show our appreciation for making time for us.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is a disingenuous justification for spam. "We are giving a gift!"
No, you are telling me I have a FINAL NOTICE on a package shipped to me.
Then you tell me I have to sign up as a client to get it. This is intentional misdirection. You prey on the elderly and mentally challenged.
Regards
We are sorry you don’t like our postcard. The postcard mentions that a parcel is on hold and requests the recipient to call the number provided. The parcel mentions that it is on hold, not that it has been shipped. We are sorry for the confusion. The parcel on hold is a gift for the addressee and in return, we share valuable information and provide options to them regarding their water quality and we deliver their gift in person. Best Regards.

I am rejecting this response because:
Saying you are sorry for intentionally tricking people, and defending the scam, is just not satisfactory. I wont be happy until you stop the scam.
