I've had Fences Del Sol do 3 different projects for my backyard. I shopped around and got quotes elsewhere but always decided to go with [redacted] and his team. Projects were done efficiently and timely, my input was asked during project work and was taken into account and final delivery was quite nice for the cost.
After the floods destroyed part of our masonry/wrought iron fence I called fences del sol for an estimate and [redacted] sent his brother [redacted]. [redacted] came with his sidekick [redacted] and asked me if I just wanted to secure the yard for the dogs, I told him I ultimately wanted the fence to look like it did before the storm, and was told the wrought iron could not be reused because it was bent. He then said they would have to take it to the shop because they could not use it the way it is. The estimate was 2500. The next day he brought workers to do the masonry and I was satisfied with that work. On Monday they put up the wrought iron without unbending it while I was at work and came to pick up the check. When I came home and saw that the wrought iron was still bent and was not installed like the rest of our fencing I texted him. He said he would come out to discuss but didn't until I emailed [redacted]. When he came out he tried to say that he didn't say he would take it to the shop and his sidekick swore to it. But I asked him how $2500 could result in such HORRIBLE work. We specifically had agreed that the rebuild would look like the remaining fence. I asked him how he could compare the newly fastened fencing to the original. "Oh," he said, he didn't realize that there was no gap between the remaining sections and would make the new part look like the old. I gave him 2 weeks, nothing has happened. I emailed [redacted] who said he would look into it but hasn't contacted me and the fence still looks crappy. I am hiring a contractor to fix the horrible job they did. I hope they needed the $2500 more than they needed good advertising!
