Review: On March 13,2014; I, [redacted] ,signed a written contract with [redacted] for a roof agreeing to pay $5,800 this job (the roof) was completed on April 6,2014. Around April 9, 2014 I entered into a verbal contract with [redacted] for window replacements( 3 upstairs 3 downstairs) and a ceiling patch up at $2,000. The total for both contracts (written and verbal) was $7,800. On March 17; I paid $3,000; April 18; I paid $1,000 and April 23; I paid $3,800. I paid the $7,800 full and at this time only the roof was completed. [redacted]; despite my request(via text,as per [redacted], preferred and best method of communication) did not begin work until May 27,2014 which he completed a portion ( upstairs window replacement only: installation and framing only no screens and not all cracks were sealed) on June 29,2014, on the same day the ceiling was said to be repaired July 1 or 2,2014 and the windows on bottom soon after([redacted] claimed on June 13,2014 that he had the window(s) for downstairs but broke it and was waiting on replacement). I have directly asked for a date from [redacted] to finish or return my money; I have had no response. Since July 28,2014 have not heard from [redacted] on this date I directly for atleast $1,000 back as the verbal contract is halfway (if not less) fulfilled and I, now need to hire someone to finish his incomplete work.Desired Settlement: The windows and ceiling quote was 2000 half (if not less)of the work was done I want 1000 back
