Review: In September, I saw the ad on facebook regarding [redacted] Student Loan Debt Relief. I followed up with the ad by calling the numbers presented. I spoke with a [redacted] a few times and another lady that went by [redacted] This company stated that by paying the $600 enrollment fee to be in the program, my student loans would be forgiven. I would then have to pay $29/month for 10 years. They would call me once a year to check income as the monthly "maintenance fee" was income based. The fact that I teach in a public service area(School Teacher) qualified me for this low rate. I paid the $600 up front and started my $29/ month in November. They drafted $29 out in November & December. All this time they were supposed to be maintaining my other loans that were currently in forbearance. Well, I noticed that in January, February and March that the $29 did not come out. I then started receiving bills from FedLoan Servicing who were now in charge of my original loans. I then spent a month trying to contact Federal Student Loan alliance. I emailed [redacted] & [redacted] several times to no avail. I also tried every number that I could find including the original phone numbers. All numbers were not in service or not working. this is my last hope to revover the $658 that I paid to this company who even stated that they worked for the Department of Education. I have my contract that I signed for you guys if you need to see it.thanks,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like all of my $658 refunded to me that I paid for them to withhold their end of the contract. The contract has been breached and now I am behind on my regular scheduled loans due to this company erroneously taking my account under.Id also like to make sure that they destroy all of my personal information that I gave them in order to sign up for monthly drafts.
Review: This business stated that they could assist with the consolidation of my spouse's student loans and was unable to do so. Per the contract we were due a refund if such instance were to occur. We have been trying since December 2014 to obtain a refund to no avail. We are now unable to make contact with the company after repeated promises that the refund would be issued.Desired Settlement: I would like the fees we paid refunded per contract provisions.
Review: I contacted Federal Student Loan Alliance to get help with paying my student loan debt. I spoke with two members of the Federal Student Loan Alliance staff, [redacted] and [redacted]. I was told from them that in order to be enrolled into the loan forgiveness program, I would have to pay a one time enrollment fee of $595.00 which could be paid in installment of $148.75 and a $29.00 monthly fee for maintenance. Once the enrollment fee was paid. I tried contacting [redacted] and [redacted] via telephone, fax, mail and email for updates regarding my student loans. The phone was disconnected and there have been no email returns. Federal Student Loan Alliance was still taking a $29.00 monthly fee out of my account. I was promised a service and it was never followed thru.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the enrollment fee which was $595.00 that was taken out of my checking account. $148.75 on 7/18/14, 8/18/14, 9/19/14, and a fee of $232.00 which consists of payments of $29.00 on 10/16/14, 11/18/14, 12/16/14, 1/16/15, 2/18/15, 2/19/15, 3/17/15, 4/17/15, and 5/19/15. I tried contacting Federal Student Loan Alliance but I never got a response back. Federal Student Loan Alliance have taken money from me and failed to provide service.
Review: After disclosing ALL of my personal information to a representative in this organization I was informed my new student loan monthly payments would be reduced from 516.00 to 377.31. I was required to pay a one time fee of 500.00 which 100% would be reimbursed if I did qualify for the new loan. I was told the new monthly payment 377.31 included the 29.00 monthly maintenance fee. After contacting my original loan provider, I learned this organization is not legit!!!!!! I would like to be reimbursed 500.00 and refunded 29.00 (past four months) which is currently being withdrawn from my checking monthly. I changed my checking account number after learning this organization is not legit but they have managed to continue making monthly deduction!Desired Settlement: Reimbursed 100% of all monies paid and monthly deductions canceled. Closing this organization permanently!
Review: In 2012 I was working with Federal Student Loan Alliance (FSLA) to get signed up for recent changes in the Department of Education loan repayment programs. I was unaware that my loan management was taken over by Nelnet on 12/21/2013. FSLA has withdrawn $910.34 from my account since 12/2013. I have not received any services from FSLA since 12/2013. I have called FSLA repeatedly over the last 2 weeks: phone goes directly to a message that says "the number is no longer available". There is no way to leave a voice mail. I have emailed the company repeatedly and have also followed up with a certified letter but have not gotten any response from the company.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund from FSLA for the $910.34 that has been withdrawn from my checking account since 12/2013. I would also like a letter from them stating that they have deleted my account information and will not make another withdrawal from my account.
