My husband is a 100% disabled veteran We own a small business and have recently been awarded a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Certificate We were approached by a salesman from Federal Small Purchase Directory about purchasing an ad in their directory so that we could receive government contracts He said that he could see over open orders for our products and as soon as we pay the $we would receive calls We were reluctant, but wanted the opportunity to sell our product to the government, so we paid the money We were to email our company information and logo We did that at least times, but their graphics department said that they didn't receive it and that our computers were not communicating with their computers After a week of run around, we insisted on a refund, which we did receive Beware of this company!

I was contacted by one of the sales representative. After pushing for me to join her directory I told her that I needed to review the terms and conditions. The lady was really rude and would not provide me detailed information about the fees for being on their directory. All she said is that it would cost me $4.99 to be on the directory. After some research I found you have to pay to get potential buyers. The way they do business I would stay away. I don't suggest doing business with people that are not telling the full truth.
I was called by this organization several days after completing my profile on the SBA. I have to give them credit for being on the ball and finding new businesses just starting out. Their business seems highly improbable because they show a lack of understanding about government procurement processes and even set asides for which they claim to be the sole source of SBE/MBE/DBE providers. It makes no sense to say that the government comes to them for lists of qualified businesses since the government is the one awarding the criteria and therefore has the composite lists on its SBA website. Also, anyone who has done business with the government knows that they do not pay on your credit. there is a registration for payment of procurement awards on the SBA web site. And the claim that they will represent only 5 companies in each business category yet they stated that the busiensses are not classified by NAICS, SIC or DUNS categories. Finally, why would the governement give them a monopoly on an edited list of businesses that the feds themselves already have? It makes no sense at all. The $499 that they want up front is to support this edited list. Crazy.
