Review: I am being charged a facility use fee of $95.25 by Feather River Hospital for an office visit at a doctors office which is not located at the hospital or in an outpatient center of the hospital. I went to see my doctor for a regular check of my thyroid on 5/11/14. I paid my office visit co-pay of $25 at the time of service. Six months later I receive a bill for $95.25 for the visit. When I called Feather River Hospital's billing department they told me they have to charge a f"facility use few" because the doctor is affiliated with their hospital. I have seen this doctor many times in the past and was never billed for this type of fee. my insurance co pay for a specialist office visit is $25. I saw the doctor at his private office. I called my insurance company and they said that Feather River Hospital billed me for the visit and facility use, and I need to ask them to remove the facility use fee. I called Feather River Hospital back and they would not remove the fee. I sent them a letter in writing disputing the charges, but for no response. I just received another bill for $95.25.Desired Settlement: I would like Feather River Hospital to remove the "facility use fee" for my office visit with Dr. [redacted] on 5/12/14.
