Dear [redacted] ,Customer purchased a used Toyota on July 27, The car was sold with all safety recalls completed on the carThe vehicle was eligible for a warranty extension, not a recall, for possible oil consumption that had expired on March 27, Customer purchased vehicle months after warranty extension coverage for this repair had expiredWe advised the customer to have the dealership do a proper test to determine if the vehicle is consuming oil and the customer declined.The dealership informed customer that we are willing to do the test at no charge and then discuss the results and a possible solution after the car has been property diagnosed.Customer returned to dealership on Oct 1, to have the test initiated and we will have the results after the customer drives milesWe will then talk to the customer and discuss possible solutions at that time.Tom HService Manager
