Review: I purchased an item (diverter spout) from Faucet Works for $34.36 on ** August 2013 at 12:** in cash. My parents (whom I made the purchase for) didn't like the style so I went back the following morning at 10:00 am to return the item. The employee said he couldn't refund my money because the item was installed. He ascertained this information by noticing a drop of water exiting the spout when he unscrewed a piece. I asked to speak to the manager who backed up his co-workers theory while never looking at the returned item (which is in pristine condition). On their return policy list which is located right by the cash register, there is NO MENTION of this policy OR on the receipt. Not to mention, on the receipt, under the list of their return policy, they ask for Customer Signature...which I was not asked to sign and did not.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund although the money is not the issue. I feel I was taken advantaged of and would not like to see any other person go through this type of situation.

THE ITEM WAS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED. WHEN SOMETHING IS INSTALLED YOU OWN IT WE DO NOT KNOW IF YOU STRIPPED A THREAD OR DAMAGED ANY PART OF THAT ITEM THERE FOR WE DO NOT WANT TO SELL IT AGAIN. IF PURCHASED AND CUSTOMER WANTS TO RETURN AN ITEM THAT HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED WE WOULD GLADLY GIVE THE CUSTOMER A REFUND. AS FAR AS THE SIGNATURE ON THE SALES SLIP THAT IS FOR CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE HOUSE ACCOUNTS. NO SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR CASH OR CREDIT CARD SALES ON THAT RECEIPT. ON THE RECEIPT IT SAYS NO RETURNS FOR ITEMS USED.
IF MR [redacted] WANTS TO RETURN THE ITEM I WILL REFUND HIM AS LONG AS ITEM IS IN PROPER CONDITION.
