I used FastPort Passport to try and get my husband a new Passport because his had expired. When we went to the *** to get the Passport processed, the man there told us we should not use this service because it was such a rip-off! He said one thing that really made me think: "They can't get you your Passport any quicker than the State Department can approve it". He was totally correct. You don't need to go through any courier service (like Fastport Passport) or *** courier service (like ***)---just do it yourself thru the State Department because they are the ones that have to process your Passport anyway! I have requested my money back from FastPort Passport, but I haven't gotten an answer yet. Appears I may have to call or write them to get an Answer, or rather, my money back.
I lost my passport and needed to get a new one. I ordered through fastport passport, but as soon as I realized I wouldn't receive the required documents needed to send to fastport I cancelled. This was well within the 48 hour cancellation window. I received an email that my cancellation request was received on Jan *** and that someone would reach out to me before processing. It is now February *** and no one has contacted me. I have left 4-5 voicemails with their billing department. Everytime I call "all representatives are assisting other callers" and am assured that the voicemail line is checked frequently. It's been 3 weeks since I've left my first voicemail and I am still out over $500 for a service I was unable to use!
I am grateful to be able to respond to the customer complaint. I unfortunately did not learn of this oversight until this Revdex.com complaint. I have asked my Billing Department to refund the full amount on Wednesday, February ***. Once completed, the customer can consider the matter closed.

I also received an email from the company saying this: govWorks received a cancellation request from you on January , 2020 regarding order number *** which you placed on ***. Pursuant to our Refund Policy and Terms of Use, which you agreed to, all sales are final and you do not qualify for a refund but we have made a special one-time exception. We have issued you a full refund in the amount of $548.85. It will take 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card or bank statement.
When I click on the link provided for refunds the page shows up blank. *** I was under the understanding that if a customer cancels within 48 hours and has not sent out any documents that the customer is eligible for a refund.

Granddaughter needed passport to accompany me to Ecuador. I contacted Fastport to expedite her passport.The Fastport process was complicated ,and when my granddaughter said she could not go,I cancelled the order and requested a refund.I have emails that prove I cancelled within the time frame and that my granddaughter's application was never submitted for a passport. I did not get a refund.

This company provides a great service. I used them years ago when I needed a new passport in a rush for an upcoming work trip (had to replace passport because I had a visa denied because there was some dirt on one page), and last week for my 10-month old daughter (just simply forgot to get her a passport - remembered 2 weeks before our trip!) It's important to know a few things: they are not a government service (which they make fairly clear, and people should know that any website ending in .com is a company; .gov is the only govt website ending). So, yes, you do have to pay government fees on top of the prices they list. Again, they make that fairly clear. Also, you might not need their services: if you live close to any of the 27 passport processing centers across the US, and you have the time, you can just go in person to get your passport if you are traveling in less than two weeks, just by paying the passport fee + $60. But if you don't live close enough, or can't take time of work, Fastport Passport does a great job going on your behalf! Great service twice now; would recommend them to anyone who needs a passport in under two weeks, and can't get to one of the processing centers on their own.
On Oct. , 2019 I noticed a charge for $233.80 on my checking account. I called the number and told me that I wanted to cancel this application and they told me to call back that it was under review. I did call back 3 times with the same answer and since it was just done Oct. *** that I needed to wait longer. Yesterday I called again and they informed me that because I didn't cancel within the 3 days from filling out the form that I was not entitled to a refund. I have not received a refund.
We are showing that the customer wishes to continue the process, based on the fact that she is not eligible for a refund based on the time frame in which she requested the refund. She Waited 2 weeks when she has 3 days to request the refund.
I BELIEVE THEY ARE A SCAM
I am extremely shocked at how poor this company is run. I spent hours filling out everything and doing everything. I had a letter for the passport office explaining how I needed to fill out my paperwork. I told them this, they told me to lie on my form that I never had a passport before. I said no, I will not lie on it, they will reject my application. They then said they were not able to help me if I would not lie on it as they don't have a way to work around their system to fill it out the way needed. I explained I have it fill out by hand with me if I can fax to them or something. They continued to say in more words NO. So, I said fine may you cancel my order and give me a refund. The lady said sure please fill out this refund request form.... Never easy... So I fill out the form, 8 days later still have not received my refund of 233.80$. I have contacted them several times in these past 8 days and they just keep telling me its still under-review. How is this under review you didn't help me, I didn't use your service I should be refunded. I am starting to believe they are a scam. I have contact my bank to get involved as well.
I lost my passport needed another and this company asks for your money upfront before even explaining how how things are done. Before I am on the website five minutes and fill out my application for a new passport I find my old so I request to cancel. I call I get a machine I leave a message. No one calls me back. I call someone picks up they say they canceled my order. I get email confirmations but still no refund. I was told 1-3 business days it’s going on 8 days.

In July of 2019 I tried to obtain a passport for my daughter, ***. When filling out the application I was unable to change from myself to my child. When I spoke to the company they said I had to fill out a new application (which included paying a second time) and they assured me I would be refunded right away. They were unable to get me the passport from the second application in time for my trip - and I was promised a second refund. I contacted them in late August and was told that I would be refunded within three weeks. I have not gotten either refund and it is now November. My order numbers were *** on 7//19 for $273.85 and *** on 7//19 for $358.90
They caused me to have to cancel my vacation, but to not have refunded me is just terrible business practice.
Sorry for the delay in getting these monies refunded. I have given permission to my Billing Department to refund these two orders today and this should show on the customer's credit card statement within 48 hours, based on the banking institute.

Online process makes you pay before you understand you won't get your passport within 24 hours. I called the company within an hour and confirmed they couldn't get it to me in time. Said I would get my money back. One month later after numerous calls and emails, I got a refund, but they kept $65. They provided absolutely no service.
The customer is correct in that we did keep $65 towards the fees, as we clearly share in our terms and conditions that there is no refund after 7 days and these fees are retained. However, they can be applied at a later date. Here are the terms agreed to at time of purchase.
Orders cancelled prior to submission to the appropriate government agency will be assessed FastportPassport ‘ standard
processing fees. Orders that are placed on the FastportPassport website but not submitted to a FastportPassport office for
processing within a 7-calendar day window will be assessed an instruction and form access fee. Upon request, that access fee
may be credited to a future order placed within the 3 months following the fee assessment.

We are sorry that *** did not accept our position at the point that this note was written. The date that we returned the chargeback information was December 3, 2019. Typically, we have to wait 30-45 days before we get an outcome. While it was shared that we she did this early in the process, it was not based on banking chargebacks.
I am asked my Billing Department to now refund the monies back to the card used at time of purchase. This may take a couple days, but the funds should be back on the card used at time of purchase by week's end. This is due to banking institute timeframes. At that time, the customer can consider this matter closed.

I started trying to work with this company the evening of November *, 2019. The site never gave me the opportunity to download the forms, took my 500+ dollars, and told me to call them to finish things and get the docs downloaded. There was no answer when I called them and the airline found my passport two hours after I applied for this. I tried to call and cancel but again, but there was no answer for my call. I think this company is a scam and they have likely stolen my identity, especially when I have to diddle around with this place for the last 12 days to get my money back. The online support person told me my refund is "under investigation." I don't know what they are investigating. It's clear they took my money and didn't give me anything for it.
Sorry for the delay in responding. As I shared in my email, the person previously handling these claims is no longer with the company and I did not have access to email to get these complaints. The customer who filed this claim has been fully refunded on November *** 2019. We consider this matter closed as we also hope the customer does as well.
I purchased a $149 expedited package July *** for a trip I was taking in September. I was trying to contact the business to get the form I needed to continue the process. It is very hard to contact them. I finally was on the line with a woman and she told me they are VERY busy and my trip is scheduled too far out for their services. She would submit a refund and she promptly hung up without giving me any more information. I found a refund form on their website and submitted it. I have called and emailed them many times. The first time after that I talked to someone, she told me the reimbursement takes 21 days to receive. I checked in after a month- still no refund. They stopped replying to my emails. It’s now November and I realized I STILL have not received a refund. I called 11/*/19 and Was on hold forever. Finally talked to what sounded like the same woman I had been talking to every other time I called. She said she couldn’t help me, I would have to speak to the higher up person who could call me back. I asked to be transferred while still on the line, she said there was no way for me to be transferred, they would call me within 24 hours, she hung up. It is 2 days later and I still have not received a call.

I paid $129 for an expedited passport in April 2019 and cancelled the order a few days later. I got an email saying I would be refunded. No refund came so I called them in October. The person on the phone said I wouldn't get a refund because you have to cancel within 3 days of placing the order. It doesn't say anywhere about the 3 day rule. I told her I had already been told I would be refunded and she promised to look into it. Since then I have heard nothing.
I would like to assist the customer but cannot find the customer in our order system. Can I ask the customer to provide us with an order number. I can take better action once I have this information. Sorry for this delay.

This company is a SCAM...DON’T USE THEM! They sent my passport to the wrong address, even though I called during the application process to confirm the shipping address and my online profile clearly had the correct address. Now I am unable to get my passport in time for an expensive trip to New Zealand.
When I called and requested to speak to a manager about a refund, they told me someone would call be back by the end of the day, I have now called three days in a row (waiting 30 min every time), and still have not spoken to a manager. The whole company seems like a scam, NEVER RECEIVED WORSE SERVICE IN MY LIFE! All I want is to speak to a manager and be treated with a little respect.
After paying for their passport expediting service but before submitting my government documents, I called to confirm my order. The lady on the other line was very nice, and explained their service is "emergency only". These words are not displayed anywhere on the company's front page or service selection page - they make it look easy, simple and fast with no restrictions. The lady apologized and cheerfully offered to cancel my order, which I was satisfied with. However, I received an email (provided upon request) stating that I would not be refunded for my order, despite zero service rendered. This company will take your money first regardless of whether they are able to actually proceed with your order.

In July2019, I submitted a request for services to get a passport with FastPort Services. They processed my credit card for the amount. The next day, after speaking with a Passport rep at the local office, I learned I could get it within the time period through the government office. I called FastPort immediately and was informed by their customer service I could cancel with a $50 fee. They would issue a refund within the week. I have since then contacted them at least 6 times and each time I have been told someone in billing would contact me about processing the refund. They have NEVER called back.
So sorry for the delay in this. I have contacted my Billing Department, who will refund this amount this week. Once complete, the customer can consider this matter closed. Have them please review their banking card statement within the next 5 business days, as each banking institute is different.

I purchased their product which promised a fast easy access to obtain a passport for a job I was applying for to go to the bahammas for relief efforts but the job almost immediately fell through. the company took my money instanly and I called the company over 10 times in the past two months only to be lied to and given the run-around. it was over $300.00 and they have refused to refund me and they have told me several times they would have a manager call me and still no word. I want a full refund and I want to warn people about this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM OPERATION. THEY OWE ME REFUND AND WON'T PAY. ITS BEEN OVER THREE MONTHS.
I contacted Fastport Passport on July *** to expedite the renewal of my daughter's passport. After following instructions on their website, I paid for the service to have the passport renewed in 24hrs. The cost was of $559. I then, called their number to confirm the transaction. I was told by a representative that they would not be able to provide the service to me. I requested a cancellation, and received an email confirming the cancellation, and the reimbursement. I have the email to prove it. I have now contacted this company 4 times (since July) to check on the status of my refund. Every time I call, I am told that the refund will come within a week. I dont know what else to do, and would very much appreciate your help.

I tried to use their services, but was told by the passport agent at my local library that it was unneccessary because it was not two weeks prior to leaving the country. They ended up just filing it expedited. This wasnt addressed in the application process for the company. I entered my days of travel and they happily took my money. I contacted them for a refund but have gotten now response back.
