This company has poor business practices. Stay far away from them. They prey on seniors to make think that they are going to buy your house but Don't
They state and sign a contract but don't follow through. They try to list your home for more money than the contract and make a quick profit. You never see an inspector as they state. Only other realtors that show up unannounced with their clients.
They also send out MLS and say they will pay the realtor that helps them sale 2.5% and also had the nerve to put on there they are related to the seller. This company has several other businesses that you can verify on SunBiz.
Refund of the $500 cash refund that is noted on contract
We understand the frustration of the seller but we feel the seller has no grounds to raise such a complaint. Red Brick Developments Inc (Buyer) entered into a contractual agreement with the legal owner of the property ***(seller).
Firstly our process was clearly explained to the seller on appointment that we have the legal right to inspect and right to cancel the purchase of property if the property is not acceptable to the buyer. Please see highlighted provision 7 of the attached contract where it states. 'Property Inspection and Right to Cancel': As with any AS IS residential real estate contract, if the buyer terminates in a timely manner (which we did on 02/24) as set forth by contract the escrow deposit is returned to the buyer rather than the seller.
Secondly our representative was very clear in pointing out the property needed more work than described to us over the phone and that the only possible way to move ahead at the figure the seller required was to significantly reduce our risk by giving us as least 30 days to purchase the home allowing us time to conduct an depth due diligence before making a financial commitment. Part of that due diligence process is finding out what issues there may be with the physical condition of the property, what the cost to re mediate the issues will be and what price we can expect to find a buyer at once completed. We use licensed inspectors, licensed contractors and licensed realtors to do this due diligence. Please see highlighted provision 12.5 of the attached contract.
As explained to the seller, we are not related by blood but we have a legal duty to disclose to all parties that we have a legal/ contractual relationship
We are clear and transparent with our process and have shortened the contract considerably to only two pages to increase the transparency of our process and the contractual obligations of the parties.
We extend our deepest apologies that we could not move forwards on the purchase of your home on this occasion. Regards, Red Brick Developments Inc
this is a investment firm that buys houses as is condition cash buyers and say that they will close in 2 to 3 weeks. They are backing out after 21days
Red Bricks Development Inc. agreed to buy my house in as is condition and a cash sale in 3 weeks or less. They came out and inspected the house. They took pictures of the house and have been marketing the house. Now after 21 days they do not want to buy it. I was remodling the house and was going to put the house on the market or rent it. I stopped everything and gave them access to the house and now after 21 days they do not want to buy it.
I want them to reimburse me for the 21 days that they have had possession of the house. I have lost 21 days lost the tenant and buyer that I had. Now I have to start all over

Apologies for the delayed response to this letter which we only opened in Mondays mail (12/02/19)
We understand the frustration of the seller but we feel the seller has no grounds to raise such a complaint.
Red Brick Developments Inc (Buyer) entered into a contractual agreement with the legal owner of the property *** (seller).
Both buyer and seller agreed to a simple two page contract on October 30, 2019 (attached). Within the contract it clearly states in provision 7. Referred to as 'Property Inspection and Right to Cancel':
"Buyer shall have ___ (if blank 30) days after effective date (inspection period) to conduct desired inspections. If buyer determines that the property is not acceptable to the buyer, buyer may terminate this contract".
As per page 2 you will note the effective date of 10/30/19
We are clear and transparent with our process and have shortened the contract considerably to only two pages to increase the transparency of our process and the contractual obligations of the parties.
Therefore buyer had until 11/30/19 to terminate contractual agreement. Clearly this contract was terminated in a timely manner as we sent seller cancellation notice on 11/19/19 and it appears that this Revdex.com complaint was raised 11/21/19 which is well within the 30 day inspection period.
We extend our deepest apologies and are saddened to hear that we have made the seller feel as though we did not act in a professional or ethical manner.
Regards,
Red Brick Developments Inc
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No I do not accept this response. If you look at the contract it clearly states AS IS condition and it also clearly states that they were supposed to have an escrow deposit. They contacted me telling that they needed to extend the closing and I said ok. Then later they said they were backing out. This supposedly a professional company that states they will make an offer in AS IS condition so theirfore inspections should not be in question. They marketed my house for 22 days and then asked to extend the closing. Then last minute walked away. Very sad I had other companies interested and went them because they came out looked at it took pictures and I thought I was dealing with a reputable company.
