Hydro BC is using untrained workers who cut power to ANYONE medical issues are not even a factor.The only warning or threat given is that you MUST take a smart ? meter or the power is cutNo warning
BC Hydro is charging an exorbitant extortion reconnect fee ($700.00)once these "unidentified" hydro loud and very intimidating aggressive BC HYDRO admitted employees
Age , weather or medical conditions are not even a consideration and the down side is that when Hydro lack of care causes a death the Law Suite will be paid using taxpayers money because WE are supposed to own and have a say in this provincially operated NEEDED program
As I write this on December 27,I have been "on hold" on the telephone for one hour The estimated wait time, due to higher than expected volume, was supposed to be 30-minutesI decided to wait knowing that it was a pre-recorded message where there may or may not have been high volumewhich I didn't expect considering it's only 10am when I started the call I think a one hour wait is outrageousIn fact, I don't think anyone is there even though every few minutes I get, "all agents are engaged with other calls, please stay on the line " This is yet another example of the very lousy customer service from BC Hydro that needs to be looked at by the Board of Directors of BC HydroI hate government intervention, but it is clear that this government organization has serious management issues that need to be addressed including reviewing whoever is responsible for the lack of Customer Service at BC HYDRO
This company has a monopoly and they sure know it by the way they treat their paying customers. I called in on 12/16/2016 to ask about a moved account as well as to inquire about the security deposit of $371 of mine that they have. I asked if a credit check could be done and my deposit returned, to which the reply was a firm no. I indicated I wanted to contest this and to please provide me with the information required. After being put back on hold for 5 minutes, the lady hung up on me. I am sure this is front line business tactics to delay and annoy me in order to keep my deposit. BC HYDRO will issue a credit check in lieu of a deposit when you open your account but apparently refuses to do one for existing customers. Their practices are not only deceitful but [redacted] in nature. The deposit amount was automatically transferred over to the moved account without my consent. The moved account has a totally separate account number from the original. The unwillingness and insulting nature of this business is really exacerbated by the fact that I have no options in this "free market" we call B.C.

I had my smart meter replaced in January, then received an "estimated" invoice a few days later that was in their words "53% higher than normal". I immediately called in my meter reading and over the course of the next two months was advised by many CSA's that my bill would be revised when the billing department got to it. I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone in the billing department or a supervisor even though I asked several times. I started wondering if there really was a billing department or any supervisors...
My meter reading is due tomorrow and still no revised invoice so I called to ask if I should assume that my invoice will not be revised as I was told on numerous occasions. She gave me the same story, yes it will be when they got to it...
But after speaking with her more she actually looked at my account and realized that my invoice wasn't an estimate, that it was correct, and that I still owed $200.
I was upset and asked for a supervisor. This time I was transferred to someone else who actually asked if I wanted an extension on the amount owing so that it didn't affect my credit. Unreal! I always prepay on the months there is no invoice so that I have a credit on my invoice. My credit is impeccable, I'm not worried about BC Hydro ruining it, that's a joke. Because of their inability to do their jobs, I now owe $200 on top of my new bill instead of having a credit like I normally do.
The lack of customer care was completely unacceptable, unprofessional and just wrong on so many levels.
Review: I signed up with Fast Business Funding in May 2013, in hopes that I would bring in additional income on a monthly basis. The sales rep specifically sold me by telling me four things; they would promote the business on a facebook business site, this business constantly bring in income, and if I invested $1000, I could see a return a minimum of $4000 a month, and if I wasn't satisfied with the business I could get a refund of my money. To date I have not received anything. Two weeks after signing up, I called the marketing department and told them I no longer felt comfortable with the company, and promptly asked for my money back. They told me to give the business a chance and asked me to wait 60 days for real results. I called 60 days later, and every two weeks afterwards, and their response was that its really slow at the moment. Again, I asked for a refund, and this time they told me that they do not give refunds for marketing.Desired Settlement: I do not feel that this is a legitimate company, and feel that my money was taken under false promises. I would like my $1000 investment returned immediately.

Review: Fast Business funding has sold my personal and business information to outside vendors that continully harras me and call daily. they refuse to stop and the calls keep coming. Also they have several phone numbers and address they go by here is that information [redacted].
