Bought a $17,000 Jeep Patriot used and certified. The buying process was great. Paid for new tags, got my temporary registration and left happy! A month later I call to see where my new tags are and they said in the mail, should get there today. Then she said "actually we transferred your old tags to your new car". I was told I could turn my old ones in (thanks god I didn't) but the issue is that I paid for new ones. Still have yet to get a check in the mail for the new tags, which they said they would send out. Went to the dealership the next day after this discovery and asked to get another key for my jeep (they only gave me one). They quoted me at $270 internal cost. I said no you can do better, they said they'd call me later that week with a new price. Never heard anything so I drove back and they decided to give me a free oil changed and told me they'd call back. I drive back again due to lack of calls and they quoted me at $172 internal cost. So I asked "why is it cheaper this week?" No response. Typical car dealership. Worried about the big money and once they get it you are nothing to them.
