Review: On Thursday July **, 2014 at approx 10:30am I entered at the Nail Salon establishment for the first time. I requested a manicure and pedicure from the nail technician. She looked at my nails and asked was it regular polish or gel. I responded it was gel. She said that I would have to soak prior to the manicure and I did that while receiving my pedicure. She removed the gel with her fingernails and after my pedicure the manicure as performed. When is was time to pay she informed me that there was going to be an additional fee for gel removal of $6.00. I told her she had never told me about this charge and neither is this charge posted on the free list in the front of the salon. The nail technician told me "that she thought I knew and didn't think it was my first time. " She also said all salons charge to remove gel. I paid the 6.00 for gel removal, 21 dollars for pedicure, and 10 for manicure for a total of $37.00. I went over to the owner to inform her that I had not been informed of the charge and that it was not listed. Her response was all salons charge it and next time soak it at home before you come. She responded to be rudely and while looking at her cell phone. I explained that you can't charge someone a fee without notice and posting it and left the salon.Desired Settlement: I would like my 6.00 refunded and that the salon has to post all fees, even small ones prior to service and payment. I was embarrassed and her response was unprofessional.
