Famous Tate Appliance and Bedding Centers

This is the sad story of a once reputable, knowledgable and upstanding company that has degenerated into a pathetic, deceitful, greedy and uninformed disgraceful business. My wife and I had begin doing business with Famous Tate many years ago and resumed doing so when we recently purchased a new home. To make a long story short, not a single transaction with them was handled in a professional, honest, or timely manner. Unfortunately, we relied on them based on passed experience, but to add insult to injury we learned after the fact that not a single item we purchased from them could not have been obtained much cheaper at numerous other locations. Buyer beware!

My husband and I recently visited Famous Tate, Henderson Blvd.Tampa, Fl., in search for an adjustable bed. Contrary to our poor experience with Sleep Number, we purchased a TemperPedic offering the features we were looking for.
From the sales. delivery, managerial assistance we were completely satisfied.
Steve K., the manager should be credited with his example of "customer satisfaction". Unlike Sleep Number, he solved the issue of connecting the bed to our existing, designer made headboard. Although the delivery people were not equipped, he offered the name of someone who could help us.
In today's world, this type of service is what is vitally important.
