Movers were scheduled to come to ***,london at 10 a.m. When they didn't show I called them and he said he was by himself and his helpers worked till midnight last night so he might get there by 11 a.m.When he still didn't show my superintendent said to load some boxes to hold the elevator which I did and he finally showed up just before 12 noon with a small woman who didn't know what to do. At 4 p.m. he decides to go for supper and returns around 5:30 p.m.and said the two guys who worked last night were going to come at 6 p.m.to help. Those two worked while I found the boss sitting on my balcony playing with his cell phone. They worked till 8 p.m.and left. My son and I had gone to the new place at 4 when he went for supper but at 8 p.m. I had to walk back to the old place and found that the movers had left a lot of my stuff behind. A wicker chair,3 throw rugs,mop and brooms,clothes hanging on shower rod,curtains still up by balcony door.Boxes on kitchen counter from stuff out of fridge. I was so stressed out I had to call a friend,(luckily,in my building)to help me Carry everything on her dolly to her apartment then we cleaned till midnight before she brought me to my new place. It was a nightmare!!!He charged me for six hours which was only booked for 3 to 4 hours. $870. I had a small bachelor apartment with NO FRIDGE,NO STOVE,NO WASHER,NO DRYER,NO DISHWASHER,NO FLATSCREEN TV and NO BEDROOM FURNITURE. They broke the handle off my record player,Broke the shade off my trilight floor lamp,broke the handle off my wooden cutlery tray and the lid from my mom's antique wooden storage box,scratched my antique coffee table and piled boxes and bags and suitcases in the bedroom.I am not allowed to lift because of a bad back and have been sick for two weeks unable to find anything I'm looking for.I will never recommend these movers to anyone.
