My mother used this company to move homes She had a lot of heavy furniture and delicate pieces The movers worked really hard, it was degrees out They were polite and friendly Nothing got scratched or broken and no walls were scraped It was a very positive experience She really appreciated their hard work
Attached are receipts from the company I am filing a complaint againstThe issue is that the owner, **, tells customers that he will be donating the decent items to a church in New Bedford (NB) in the south endHe does moving which he did perform for meHe also tells customers that he
donates items to this church and these items are tax deductible since it is a charitable organizationWhen I requested a receipt for these donated items, he never produced one nor would he return my phone calls. My assumption is that he is a Thrift Shop as you indicated, and a moving company, and he sells the donated items thru the Thrift Shop and there are no "church" donations as he leads customers to believeYour office could also contact him at some point and ask if his company donates residential items to a NB church and if he is also a legal and recognized charitable organization, which he clearly is not.If any other info is necessary, please inform.Regards,***
My mother who is senior hired family movers for her move. They where incredibly friendly and professional and helpful with her. She suffers from severe back pain and had to leave the country the next day to visit her dying mother, so she was obviously stressed about the move. Their courteous and friendly manners helped a great deal to make the move easy on her. At no point did she feel rushed, and they where very patient with her.
