I am writing in response to recieving notification from Revdex.com regarding [redacted] and the concern regarding the care as well as billed services she received at Family HealthCare on September 11,It does appear that there were multiple billing concerns on this dateThe first concern was that an additional service was inappropriately billedThis procedure, billed in error, more than doubled the cost of the visitThe second concern was that it was found that the insurance company (a state sponsored Medicaid plan) had not completed credentialing of a newly hired providerAfter identifying that credentialing had not been completed and the patient recieved a bill, we elected to write off services received on this date as a service to the patientAn additional concern was the response time from the billing department at Family HealthCareThe physical location of our billing department was undergoing renovations during this time and it appears in revieiwing that we did not respond to patient in as a timely manner as would be expectedAs a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that has recieved multiple awards including most recently Level Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of careThis information has already been used to help improve processes to prevent these concerns in the futureSincerely, Matthew ***, DDS Dental Director

first concern was that an additional service was inappropriately billed. This procedure, billed in error, more than doubled the cost of the visit. The second concern was that it was found that the insurance company (a state sponsored Medicaid plan) had not completed credentialing of a newly hired provider. After identifying that credentialing had not been completed and the patient recieved a bill, we elected to write off services received on this date as a service to the patient. An additional concern was the response time from the billing department at Family HealthCare. The physical location of our billing department was undergoing renovations during this time and it appears in revieiwing that we did not respond to patient in as a timely manner as would be expected. As a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that has recieved multiple awards including most recently Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care. This information has already been used to help improve processes to prevent these concerns in the future. Sincerely, Matthew [redacted], DDS Dental Director
