I understand a company has to account for all cost and time. When dealing with this dentist office things are never consistent. When the company performs a courtesy call regarding your appointments and call you within the 24 hour period of cancellation this is a little shady. Shouldn't they call prior to the 24 hour period? I would think so. Secondly, during the recording it says that you will be charged 35.00 for missed appointments. Oh but this is not accurate, they pick and choose various procedures to bill you for 1 or 2 hours. This is information is not provided to you prior to you making the appointment and the courtesy call speaks only of one $35.00 fee. I am not saying that Dr. Polk is a bad dentist, however he allows his business to be ran in such a way that I won't ever return. There was even a situation where I called to cancel an appointment and I was told that I had a credit from where I was overcharged. The office was holding money that they should have refunded. They were not going to refund it until I instructed them to do so. Beware of the varying cost.
