My contract is with Factory Expo not [redacted] who is an employee of [redacted] Homes. None of the items in the last complaint have been addressed by Factory Expo. Again they are doing what they do best -lie and deceive -. [redacted] stated in an E-mail that Factory Expo had tried to contact me several times, my phone company had given me records of all calls to and from my phone. There is no incoming calls to my phone from Factory Expo during this time frame. I supplied you with copies of [redacted] E-mails. I have spoke with Mr. [redacted] to see what issues he has and he just ask for me to come see. I have sent emails asking Mr. [redacted] to contact us regarding a meeting to resolve any issues he may have and to date he hasn't responded with a date to meet. He has responded with emails but not to...
address any issue he has with the home. If Mr [redacted] will send to Revdex.com or Factory Expo a list of issues he has, we would be more than happy to address each issue and if the issue is a warranty problem we will repair it promptly. I have read his complaint to Revdex.com and the complaint doesn't address what his problem is. As I have repeatedly informed Mr. [redacted] our main concern is to have a satisfied customer however we must know precisely what the problem is to repair it.

I am not satisfied because at time of purchase there was an oral agreement with the sales person about removing the living room carpet and replacing it with laminate flooring. The sales person had me sign a generic copy of the contract. She stated that it was a formality and she assured me that she would adhere to my request. At time of delivery she had a loss of memory of ever commenting and assuring me that the laminate flooring would be in the purchase as agreed upon on day of purchase.

Review: [redacted],You requested a written statement from me stating what transpired in [redacted] office the day of my trailer purchase. [redacted] was in and out of the office. While talking to [redacted] about the color schemes of my new home on page five of the contract it stated carpet and carpet color. I emphasized no carpet in the living room area, instead, use the floor type in the demo in your parking lot. However, [redacted] assured me that carpet comes standard in the type trailer I was interested in (Hud). She also stated to me at that time that she would fix the flooring to my standard which would be the same type of flooring of the demo. While [redacted] had the color scheme out showing different types of colors for the walls, we also talked about the floor in question as well. My sister was involved with the conversation as well by telephone. So, it was myself, my mom, and my sister and [redacted] talking about color schemes for my home. Not only did [redacted] not keep her word and had me sign the contract leading me to believe that I would not have carpet in the living room, but she also sent me papers to resign after I left the office. At two different times since I left her office she contacted me by phone asking me to sign again. She sent me at two different times two more papers to sign, saying that she had made a mistake and that she needed to fix the mistake. This is not my first major purchase but it is the first time I have been dealt so unrespectful. Regards, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Replace carpet in living room area with flooring in the demo (laminate or the like.)

Review: We gave Factory Expo Homes a $1000 deposit on March 29, 2014 for a Ridgemark model home. The paper stated that a full refund would be issued if we were unable to get financing. We did not even complete the paper work for financing the home because we discovered that the lot we wanted to put the home on was not zoned to accept manufactured dwellings. Both myself and the sales rep, [redacted], who worked with us called [redacted]'s County zoning to confirm this. After that date, [redacted] instructed me to email a letter to both Mr. [redacted] and the company's general email to cancel our home order and get a refund for the deposit. This email was sent the same day. Mr. [redacted] assured us verbally that the refund would arrive within 30 days. It has been 4 days past the due date and I have called and emailed over 7 times. Today, I spoke with a representative of the company named [redacted]. She assured me over the phone that the refund was credited to my card yesterday. However, my bank has no record of that. Also, she said that [redacted] no longer works for the company, which no one informed me of prior to today. I just want to get a refund and continue to find a home for me and my family. My lease expires in less than two months at my current residence. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would ike the $1000 fully refunded to my debit card immediately as promised. We did not even do any financinal paperwork with the company because we found out almost immediately that the deal would not work. I have emails and call records to substantiate my claim.

Review: This information is being prepared to get support from the public, news media and any others who may see an interest in problems such as this. In April 2014 | signed a contract with FACTORY EXPO HOME CENTER to build a double wide house. They are a part of [redacted], both are located at [redacted]. The house was to be placed on a basement which required an engineering report to obtain a building permit. The sales person, [redacted], stated that it would about two weeks for them to obtain the report from [redacted] The first week of June I talked to [redacted] and explained that since she had not provided the engineering report, I would get one so I could get the building permit. This report cost me $500.00. I gave [redacted] and the Building Inspection's office a copy of the report the second week of June. About a week later I received the approved building permit. Near the end of June I received a copy of what I believe to be a duplicate copy of the engineering reporting from [redacted]. When I signed the contract I paid $7,000.00 down. In July, [redacted] ask for an additional payment of $10,000.00 to start the construction. I provided this. About the time the unit was completed, [redacted] stated that I had to pay the Balance before they could deliver the unit ($54,252.00). This I also paid and they moved the unit to my property. When the foundation was completed, I requested that Factory Expo complete the setup. I was told that because the basement was more than three feet high ( 37 inches) I would have to get a crane to lift the house onto the foundation. I did this but the three people who set the house stated that I was lied to about the three foot limit. They stated that this house could have been jacked up to more than four feet and rolled across the foundation by the setup crew. This was early November at a cost of $ 1 863.00. A few days after I called and requested for them to complete the job and that there were several defects that should to be
corrected. About the first week of December [redacted] from [redacted] called me about the defects stating he only received the complaint that day and a worker would be out the next day. The worker ([redacted]) arrived the next day, took pictures and left stating, "someone would get back to me". No one called, on December 29,I call [redacted] from Factory Expo requesting a meeting with [redacted], and him. He scheduled it for December 31, however on December 3I, [redacted] and stated that [redacted] was sick and he
would call on January 2 to reschedule. That was the last contact I've had with these people.Desired Settlement: Call me and make repairs.
