This business advertises apartments for rent on *** for it's rental businessThe advertisement lists the monthly cost of the apartment along with terms such as first and last months rent and security depositHowever when you respond they send an application which states "Mohawk Real Estate charges a fee for assisting you in finding a house or apartment to rentThe amount is equal to one months rent." First Mohawk Real Estate is not helping me to find an apartment, they are acting as an agent for the property ownerSecondly, as this fee is not disclosed on the advertisements this is clearly improper business practice
