F. Geoffrey, Ltd.

I found F. Geoffrey, Ltd. by accident a shot time ago, and I am so glad I did! I was a customer of Frank L. Moose Jewelers years ago when they were downtown Roanoke.. However, I thought they had closed. A friend of mine, their accountant, is the one that told me that F. Geoffrey, Ltd was the same family owned business as Frank L. Moose. I was so happy! I made a visit to their store, and fell in love not only with the merchandise, but also with the store personnel. I enjoyed seeing their display of beautiful and unique jewelry. One ring in particular caught my eye, and I could not get it our of my mind. I "visited" the ring many times, and was in love with it. I finally took the plunge and purchased it - and even though the personnel knew I loved it, they were never pushy about selling it to me. When it was ready to be sized, we found we had a slight problem. I have a very small finger and due to the style of the ring it was going to be difficult to size. They were very honest with me. They could have had it sized by the normal procedures, and I would have assumed all was well. However, they explained to me that to size it the way they normally do, would probably cause stress on the setting and loosen the stones. I was heartbroken as I truly wanted this ring. The store owner and one of the salespeople told me not to give up, they had another idea. And it worked! I have bought a couple of other jewelry pieces since and they will be seeing me again. It is so nice to deal with a home town business that remembers how to treat their customers with personal care. If you are interested in fine jewelry and great customer care, you must go to F.
