In early August 2013 my wife arranged for a sales rep from Wigger Draperies to attend our home and show her options for new draperies on our main floor, about 10 or 11 window coverings in all. [redacted] came over and sat with my wife and her daughter for a couple of hours and picked out the appropriate coverings, then [redacted] measured all the windows for eventual installation. There was bit of a delay in the installation date however a date in October was finally arranged and the gentleman showed up to install the window coverings. He was doing a good job, everything looked good until the final window in the dining room. The blind, once installed, was about 2 feet too short. He said it looks like 'we have a problem, it happens once in a while.' Although disappointing the installer advised he would pass the problem on to our salesperson and it would be resolved. A day or two later [redacted] called to apologize however it wasn't her fault as that one window was the one she had asked us to measure. I was somewhat surprised that a business would blame the customer for doing their job and confirmed with my wife that she had indeed measured the window in question. She had as my wife had to get a chair to assist her with the height of the window. [redacted] advised she had called back to get the window measured and I had measured it incorrectly, hence the short covering. I told [redacted] I had not measured any window and certainly would not be about 2 feet out on the measurement if I had. Wigger charged us $300.30 for the one window covering they had measured wrong in addition to the $7047.60 they had already charged us.
