Ezzell Electric

signed a construction contract with Ezzell Electric (EE) in April 2017. The entire building project was supposed to be completed in 9 to 12 months. As of this writing the project is about 60% to 70% complete. EE has been paid 95% of the contract. EE has run out of money and is unable to complete our project.

The church has had a mechanics lien filed by a subcontractor and threats of other mechanics liens because EE did not pay some of the subcontractors that were hired. HCLC has had to pay subcontractors to avoid further liens.

EE presented misleading bond and insurance paperwork. HCLC was never added to EE surety bond insurance.

Overall EE's incompetence and dishonest business practices has cost HCLC between $75,000 and $100,000 in additional funding.
