Eye Of The Needle

I booked an appointment for a tattoo. Took my design in, they said this artist would be best for it. I said ok, they booked me in for 2hrs just in case. I knew it would only be an hour, but didn't argue as its their job! I paid a deposit for 1hr. [redacted] I got there on time.. She was finishing up with a client so I waited, [redacted] We started, finished it looks great.. Was done in 45 mins total for everything! She walks me out and says the lady at the desk can help me. Ok.. So that will be $160? What? Does that include the $160 I paid for a deposit? It was only an hour? This artists minimum is 2hrs.. Ok, no one informed me that I would pay for 2hrs regardless if it took her 30 mins to physically do my tattoo! I call the next day to inquire about this and she says that artist only does big artwork and has a min of 2hrs. I say ok, had I known that on the first place I would not have booked and went some where that would charge me for the correct amount of time? I'm sorry you were not told about this and there was a misunderstanding. Sorry? I got charged $320 for something I should have only been charged $160 for! I have no problem paying for the artists time to do the work, but with in reason! If it had been into the 2nd hour it wouldn't have been a big deal had I known. But spending 45 min with that artist, then to find out I'm gonna be charged for way more was a huge disappointment [redacted]Desired SettlementI feel I should have only had to pay for the 1hr of service!
