On 5/2/16, I spoke with the owner of the business, Jerrod [redacted] He provided the following response:The original work on the chimney was done years agoHe was out there a year ago to water seal the chimney.They called him 1/to months ago to do work on the garage and to check the chimneyHe water sealed the chimney again.They called him 3/weeks later to tell him the chimney was leaking.He was more than willing to help the customers but they started sending nasty messages to himHe became frustrated to basically told them to "screw off"He admits that he shouldn't have done this but they were getting very nasty.He says the water in their basement has nothing to do with the chimneyThey a crack in the foundation from the front of the house to the back of the house and that could very well be the source of the waterHe has pointed that out to them.He said he also pointed out to them that they need a new roof.He wanted to do a leak test on the chimney but the customers are not being patientThis test has to be done when it is NOT rainingHe said he cannot control the weather.He said he has never told anyone that he guarantees anything for lifeHe does not give guarantees on concrete work at all
