Review: On 11/1/12, I purchsed wedding invitations from Expressions. I ordered 125 wedding invitations, along with the various inserts for my wedding which was scheduled for 10/12/13. I selected an invitation from the book, and recieved a reciete stating "paid in full." On this date, Expressions was running a 50% off sale, which brought my purchase of the invitations down from 736.25 to 368.12. I was told these invitations could be printed in their store, with an approximate turn around time of 2 weeks. The sales associates, who initials are SS infomred me that I can return as a date closer to the wedding or supply them with the wording and needed addresses for the invitations. When I returned to order my invitations on 6/8/13, I was informed that these invitations could actually NOT be printed in the order, but could be ordered through an outside company, at an additional cost of almost 1,000 dollars. I informed the staff that I was never told this, and was infact told something completely different when I purchased my invitations. The staff offered to provide me with an invitation which was similar, but NOT the original invitation which I picked. The staff was rude and unwilling to accept their mistake. Their response was simply "We are trying to work with you." I said for the invitations with 290.21 which was purchased on my credit card, and an additional 100 dollar gift card which I had won from expressions. The owner, who was extremely rude, resuses to refund either my 100 dollars from the gift card, or issue a new 100 dollar gift card. I now have less than 4 months before my wedding, and no invitations.Desired Settlement: I feel, because their staff made a mistkae, they should be required to purchase the invitations, or pay for my new invitations that I choose to purchase at a different facility. Instead of owning up to their mistake, and making the customer feel valued, they were rude and unkind. At the very least, I expect a full refund of the remining 100 dollars which I am owed. Additionally, this store should be forced to have an explicit writen policy so this does not happen in the future.
