Review: Some months ago, Express Cleaners lost the wash and fold laundry my sister and I dropped off with them. We had been using Express Cleaners for a year without any problems, so we have been trying to keep the issue between us. We have been speaking with the manager almost every day trying to secure the return of the laundry. They have invented a number of lies about where the laundry is-- the machine broke, it got delivered to the wrong store, etc-- but the real issue (and their latest excuse) appears to be that the washing company they outsource to has gone out of business, or is somehow locked up and inaccessible. For a while we were assured that the manager was in touch with them and trying to get our clothing back. Now he is screening our calls and avoiding us. Express Cleaners did at one time offer to pay for the missing clothes, but when we presented estimates of the cost, they shied away and assured us they would get the clothing back. They have not offered to pay again.Desired Settlement: Either they pay us the amount of our estimate or they return our laundry ASAP.

Review: On 11/**/2013, I dropped off 8 dress shirts for cleaning. Express Cleaners admits to losing the shirts. On 12/**, I was told that if the shirts were not in my possession by 12/**, I would be reimbursed. I went in today (12/**/2013) and the cleaner did not have my shirts. When I asked for reimbursement, they told me "they had to speak to the owner." When I demanded promised reimbursement, I was told that "I would not get it and could do whatever I wanted."Desired Settlement: All of the shirts were either from Brooks Brothers, J-Crew, or Banana Republic. The shirts ranged in price from $69.95 to $129.95. I am will to accept $70 per shirt, plus reimbursement of $15.96 for the cleaning of the lost shirts. The total is $575.95.
