Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted] Many of Quints' comments are completely incorrect.1)Quint NEVER told me that he had not used the "prism" before.2) Quint knew all along that I wanted a bright Orange as the final color and should have stopped painting when he saw the prism effect Then we wouldn't be having this dispute.3)Quint said he was surprised as I was at the fading of the base color to a salmon color He told me this is why he sprayed a test card with two other colors to see what the prism did to those colors And in both cases, he said that the base color was muted/faded.4)I did agree to forgo the test card with prism because of the cost but Quint assured me that I would like the final product Had I known that he had never used it before, I would never have agreed to it.5)The Molly and Eclipse Oranges looked the same to me and I would have been satisified with either as long as the final color was not faded/muted/changed to a salmon color.6)We NEVER agreed on a price for the repainting I learned about pricing the day before Quint was to start repainting the parts It was either pay his price or start over with another painter I even signed the invoice "Paid Under Protest".7)I DID NOT know, nor did Quint (by his own admission) what the prism effect was going to be on the base color-------------so his statement that "ALL PARTIES WERE AWARE" IS COMPLETELY FALSE
To response to the complaint: Starting with *** statements are NOT completely correctWe did present this new prism additive to *** in which we told him that we had never sprayed this product beforeWe did tell him that prism has a color changing effectThat is what the word prism defines
Kustom Kolors and neither House of Kolors the manufacturer of the prism material at this point in time has no color chips of this effectIt is a brand new productWe did show *** a YouTube video of this product being sprayed over a silver base on a Jaguar*** saw on this video how it had a color changing effectHe knew at that point it would change colorKustom Kolors had mentioned to *** it's common practice is to spray a test card*** said that with the cost being $for a 8oz jar that he would like it and didn't feel the need for a test card before painting the (19) trike partsAt this point the parts were painted he picked them up on a Friday with no complaintsShowed him the change effect out in the sun...it was a beautiful color changing orange. Monday *** called and was unhappy with the color changing effectHe wanted us to repaint the parts at little to no cost to himWe told him we would repaint the parts what ever color he chose at our shop costWhich was the $Custom paint materials aren't cheapWe feel for all the (19) parts of this trike that was a fair price for a two tone color with a pinstripeOnce we agreed on this price and waited the correct cure time for repaint *** came in and picked a completely different color of orange which was called eclipse orange with an effects pack of #(House of Kolors)At this point of time he liked this color better than the Molly Orange because the effect that it had*** picked these parts up and was extremely happyWe had not heard from him until this complaintBottom line he knew the prism would change the color of the Molly Orange he pickedThe spray cards that we did after the fact were black and greenKustom Kolors wanted to see what the effect would be and it did the same thing as it did over the Molly Orange only with different color huesTHAT IS WHAT THE PRISM ADDITIVE DOES AND ALL PARTIES WERE AWARE

Regards,
[redacted] Many of Quints' comments are completely incorrect.1)Quint NEVER told me that he had not used the "prism" before.2) Quint knew all along that I wanted a bright Orange as the final color and should have stopped painting when he saw the prism effect. Then we wouldn't be having this dispute.3)Quint said he was surprised as I was at the fading of the base color to a salmon color. He told me this is why he sprayed a test card with two other colors to see what the prism did to those colors. And in both cases, he said that the base color was muted/faded.4)I did agree to forgo the test card with prism because of the cost but Quint assured me that I would like the final product. Had I known that he had never used it before, I would never have agreed to it.5)The Molly and Eclipse Oranges looked the same to me and I would have been satisified with either as long as the final color was not faded/muted/changed to a salmon color.6)We NEVER agreed on a price for the repainting. I learned about pricing the day before Quint was to start repainting the parts. It was either pay his price or start over with another painter. I even signed the invoice "Paid Under Protest".7)I DID NOT know, nor did Quint (by his own admission) what the prism effect was going to be on the base color-------------so his statement that "ALL PARTIES WERE AWARE" IS COMPLETELY FALSE.
