Experian RentBureau

I submitted a dispute to RentBureau via *** after I was denied an apartment due to rental history. I was able to submit a letter from my previous landlord showing payments were made on time. However, the company reporting to RentBureau is a management company that was never my management company at the address I lived at. RentBureau has informed me that it doesn't matter what information I have, they will not change what is on the tenant report. I think this is unfair and should be illegal considering I never rented under the property name that is showing. I also provided them with my previous lease in addition to letter from my past management company. The RentBureau representative informed me that they do not look at the dispute materials at all, and that it doesn't matter what is submitted they essentially ignore documented proof contradicting anything they have.
