The following is an accurate opinion of our experience with hiring Expanded Roofing.
After researching many roofing companies to provide roofing services, we hired Expanded Roofing owned by Scott *** and his high-pressure Sales Manager Duane *** We hired
Expanded Roofing fully expecting professionalism, respect, a simple sense of customer service and ethical workmanship. In our opinion, we did not receive any of this. Yes, we had roofs replaced but we also dealt with Duane *** in a face to face confrontation in our home, with my fiancé because we noticed that our vent covers were not replaced when we were told that they would be. In fact, when they were caught not replacing our vents, Duane admitted that they were cutting corners. We were charged for the replacement for our vents, but instead they were just painted over with shiny gray spray paint. This charge was later corrected. But the honest and ethical damage had been done.
There was also a confrontation on our property between my fiancé and Scott *** (the owner). This confrontation occurred because my fiancé asked him why he was rude and accusatory to her during one of her phone calls with Scott *** regarding why our hail damaged vents were spray painted and not replaced as stated in the contract.
We also kept receiving inflated invoices for charges that should have remained the same during the whole contract. These charges, once we noticed them, were corrected.
1) It is our opinion that Scott *** (the owner) and Duane *** (the Sales Manager) conduct is unprofessional, hostile and undignified.
2) It is our opinion that our hiring of Expanded Roofing was a great mistake.
3) It is our opinion that any prospective customers should hire any other roofing company.
4) It is our opinion that past customers should re-check their roofs and invoices for possible inflated cost inconsistencies and work not performed.
