Review: The following writeup documents issues related to a contract for painting services with Excellent Services LLC for painting services to be performed 24 February 3 March. The contract has been paid in full, however the job has not been complete as described below. Issues-Inconsistencies with timeliness/commitments/not showing up/etc.-Did not finish the job by March 3rd the lack of completion of the project and the continued postponement is unacceptable.-Did not clean work areas at the end of each day, as was described in the contract. . Touch up after March 3rd would have been acceptable; however -Did not work one day because furniture was not moved, even though it says in the contract that he will move furniture.-Areas still needing work: Master bedroom walls (touch ups, roller brush lint in paint on walls, ceiling still needs painting), stairs and hallway need touch ups, guest bedroom (touch ups, roller brush lint in paint on walls), guest bathroom (touch ups), foyer (ceiling and side wall still needs to be painted).Damages:-Paint on carpet, especially in master bedroom and guest room. -Paint on baseboards and door jams-Roller brush lint on master bedroom, guest bedroom, and stair walls. -Nail pops were not all repaired as discussed -Stair baseboards which were cracked were not repaired.-Wood is damaged along stairs from when the stair rail was removed.Desired Settlement: The terms of the contract have not been met; however, the contract price has been paid in full. We have obtained quotes from 3 different contractors on what it would cost to complete and fix all of the mistakes/repairs that need to be done. These quotes have ranged from $2000-2500. We would like to have resolution in that range so that we can have the job finished.
