Review: Optician failed to submit proper documentation for an authorization request of eye car equipment to insurance last month. Misinformed me about the process and had me under the impression that she was indeed resolving my concerns and that my sons eye care needs would be met. Upon contacting insurance I learned the request was not made according to my knowledge or consent, if I would have been informed correctly, I would have not agreed to the terms. This issue results in my 10 year old son now having to wait a whole year for his much needed seeing glasses, and this is also triggering severe headache/migraines, which was why we needed to go to this office in the first place. Upon trying to resolve this issue I was spoken to very rudely and nasty and told that "it does not matter what I had been informed last month, this is now". I am under the impression that they only cared about the easy appointment incentive that they made by evaluating my son with no true interest or concern for this young boys outcome and need for glasses. Had I known otherwise I would have held off on everything. It defeated the whole purpose to have submitted that request last month if I still would've had to pay for them this month. He went form reading to seeing glasses the request for the complete set should've been submitted together last month.Desired Settlement: It was their error, I would appreciate an apology to my child and the lenses that he was supposed to get covered for his new frames this month. They changed the terms of my insurances contract by submitting an incomplete request last month without my knowledge or consent and now they expect me to cover my sons lenses out of pocket, after she assured me he will be all set for his equipment this month.
Review: The company charge me twice for the same services and billed two insurance companies and balance billing me for the difference. I have not been able to obtain a copy of the bills because they state they no longer have the bills in their system. They are money hungry and continues to overcharge patients for services they are not providing.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the numerous overcharging of co-payments that I have been charged.
