On 3/20/20, I hired ***, the owner of Excel Detailing to put a ceramic coating on my vehicle. I immediately noticed imperfections on the coating.
On 3/20/20, I hired ***, the owner of Excel Detailing to put a ceramic coating on my vehicle. I immediately noticed imperfections on the coating. The owner told me to bring it back in two weeks. I then decided to have a paint protection film put on the vehicle. The owner told me the vehicle would be ready in a week. After waiting three weeks for the completion of the job, I noticed the same water spots and finger prints I orginally complained about, It appears he put the film over the imperfections I orginally compiled about. The protection film was not secured onto vehicle and is peeling off. I paid him five hundred dollars just to be able to recover my vehicle and avoid any problems. I am requesting the return of my money. I will have to take my vehicle to have the protection film put on properly somewhere else. I am convinced the owner doesn't know how to apply Paint protection film.
I will request a full refund. I will have to have someone else remove the protection film and prep the area so the job can done correctly. This is going to be really expensive for me. I don't have faith in Excel Detailing to do the job correctly.
Mr. came in for a ceramic coating on his vehicle. The service was performed and he took his vehicle home. After a few days he stated that he wanted to do the full hood with paint protection film instead. He brought the vehicle in and we removed the ceramic and applied the PPF as he requested. The customer still wasn't satisfied and he also complained about this service taking too long to be completed. It took about 2-3 weeks because we were unable to get the products that we needed sooner due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shipping was delayed because our products come from New York and California, which are two states that were in lockdown, and there was nothing we could do about that. Our customers satisfaction has always been our priority, so we reached out to this customer and we were able to come to an agreement and a resolution We want our customers to feel that our best product is our reputation, therefore, we're glad to have been able to resolve this issue.
