Review: I currently reside in Apartments owned by Evers Construction and our hot water heater went out. We awoke Sunday morning 5/18/14 to take showers, my wife, daughter, and myself when we realized, we had no hot water. We called the emergency number and someone showed up approx. 30 mins. later, we were told that they weren't going to pay anyone double time to fix it and we would have to wait till Monday morning. I feel this is unacceptable due to the fact that we have never been late on paying rent, we have resided here 3 yrs. We also had asked if they (Evers) would allow us to get a hotel room for Sun- Mon. and deduct it off our rent and they refused.Desired Settlement: We would like a hotel room reimbursement for the hotel we are going to stay at for Sun-Mon and information to remain on Revdex.com website.

Response:
This letter is in response to the above mentioned case filed by [redacted].
I believe Mr [redacted] letter gives a good explanation as to the fast response time. When an appliance
quits, an instant solution cannot be had . This ca ll came in on a Sunday, when everyone is closed. Our
emergency line got the call and the head maintenance person for our complex dropped everything he
was doing at his business, and came out to check. Plumbers do not work on Sundays, and our crew is no
different. We had to have time to arrange this job, get a new heater, and arrange the schedule to
handle this job. My personal water heater went out at home last year and took the plumbers 4 days to
come out. Mr [redacted] request was not within a reasonable time frame for our company, but we did install
the very next day and had hot water to him before 12:00 noon. This is very exceptional service for
anyone.
It is always an inconvenience for anyone when the hot water stops. They did have full water and sewer
usage all the time, just hot water in the faucets was not available for less than 24 hours. We could not
make it happen any faster, unfortunately, and does not affect his rental home. ATCP 134.07 does state
that an acceptable reason for landlord not completing repa irs stated in writing is "labor shortage,
supplies not available, etc." This is what happened in this case. We even explained on Sunday that it
could not be done right ,w .. 'ay that cay. Mr [redacted] never even called our office Monday to discuss this
with us.
Please remove this case from your Revdex.com website. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Should you have any further questions, please give me a call.
