referral for therapy. During the microscopic exam, the Dr. discovered a foreign body and removed it. Charges were determined to be accurate for this visit.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
It is my understanding that Evergreen Health has agreed to remove the charge of $289 for "Foreign Object: Ear" from my bill. Any payout fom my insurance then should also be returned.
This satisfactorily resolves my complaint--though I have doubts as to whether these types of price-gouging practices by Evergreen Health have been reviewed and resolved. The complaintant states; "The doctor has asked the charge be removed," which indicates that Evergreen Health will continue to implement unethical practices in billing patients. It is for reasons like this that class-action suits are allowed in the practice of law: to bring pressure upon organizations to mend their ways.
Nevertheless--if the information as stated above is correct--MY complaint has been satisfactorily resolved. I will avoid Evergreen Health in the future--which is a shame. Dr. Z[redacted] himself struck me as a first-class physician.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: It does not address the specific complaint:
Evergreen Health actively pursues unethical financial methods. These methods include:
* Performing unnecessary medical procedures,
* Performing these unnecessary procedures without informing the patient of his options,
* Performing these procedures without informing the patient the price at which they will be billed, and then:
* Over-billing the patient to an extent that borders extortion, and is certainly price-gouging.
I demand Evergreen Health remove the charge for this unnecessary medical procedure.
I am willing to look into pursuing a class-action lawsuit against the hospital for this practice, and will be contacting lawyers depending on how Evergreen chooses to treat this matter.
Sincerely,
