One afternoon, a person *** came to our front door. We do have an interlocking brick driveway. He said he would power wash, re-align any sunken or dislodged bricks, apply polymer sand between bricks and apply a top coat over all the bricks. You do not pay until you are completely satisfied." he said. We agreed to a price of $1500.00. That afternoon he brought a man over to our home and he began to power wash the driveway. The next morning the one worker returned with ***. The price increased to $1800. when my husband pointed out some other bricks to be raised. He did lift some bricks. Within an hour someone else named *** showed up. He wanted money right away. He even wanted to drive my husband to our bank to get some money. My husband did not go. I arrived home about an hour later. *** was ***, demanding cash. I need cash to start my next job he said. *** appeared saying they were almost done. I said I will pay when the job is completed. He harassed me until I finally gave $1000.00 with reassurance they would complete the job 100% to our satisfaction. It never happened. They ***, *** and *** another $700.00 from us. I am embarrassed that we were *** by this group. They did power wash the driveway, through some beach sand over it and left.
