Checks are not mailed from my office, they are processed and sent by home officeI have no reason to lie about this, it's not like the refund is coming out of my pocket or anythingI am just trying to help you get your refundPlease email me your mailing address so I can be sure it is correct, then I will call billing, have a stop payment issued on the refund check that was mailed to your last known address and issue a new check
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: First off, there was a physical phone call on the 13th of April, 2017, between AMy J*** and Nick EvansSee attached copies of emailsThis business is lying and as far as I am concern, a thief since ***, whom I had motorcycle coverage with through *** INS, backdated to April 13thSecond, he says mailed out a refund on the 26th of juneIt is now the 13th of July, no check, and I live minutes away from his officeAlso, that is not the amount that was automatically deducted twiceAlso, please look at *** home office reply email I have included which states and effective date of 4/29/which is very much different than Nick Evans states
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meBut, the amount being refunded is different from what was deducted automatically and I am now working with *** Home office to find out why this is
Apparently a former client of mine submitted a complaint. So basically what happened he sent me an email on June 1st saying that he switched insurance and that was the first I'd heard from him saying he wished to cancel his insurance. So I let him know that I would need to see proof of...
his other coverage so that I could back date the cancellation to day his new policy started so I could get him the maximum amount of refund back so that he wasn't double paying for coverage. So that was June 1st. And then it took him until June 22nd for me to receive that documentation. So once I received that I processed the back dated cancellation that day and a refund of $186.55 went out on June 26th, four days later. So definitely as soon as I had what I needed, we processed that very timely and refunded him his money. There was a 21 day delay between him emailing me and giving me the documentation I needed to back date cancel his policy.
