We installed Mrs. [redacted]'s liner about 1 month ago. When we completed the job, she was very happy and we did not receive any calls from her regarding any other issues. The job was well done and completed to her satisfaction. Two quick questions can clear this matter up:1. Were the wrinkles there before...

all the rain we have had? Answer - NO, there were no wrinkles in the liner.2. Has the liner pulled away before all the rain we have had? Answer - NO, your liner did not pull away for it was installed correctly. Please keep in mind that in ground vinyl liner pools often "float" when there is a lot of rain and the ground becomes too saturated (this is a very common problem and we get 50+ calls a year due to this). There is no way we can warranty problems caused by a liner "floating" for we cannot control how much rain fall the [redacted] area gets nor how much ground water seeps back into your pool. She wrote me an email telling me her liner did not float, but both my [redacted] and I agree that it did. Between my [redacted] and I, we have a combined experience with vinyl pool of over 70 years.  I can understand Her frustration, distraught and disappointed feelings, but Her feelings are misdirected.  We repeatedly told her that the liner warranty and our workmanship warranty does not cover damage nor wrinkles from a liner floating.   This is a risk all people with in ground vinyl liners assume. The bottom material is permeable meaning water can move both ways through it.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] via email, and find that this resolution would satisfy me if carried out properly.Mr [redacted] stated that he would send people to fix the pool, I have sent him pictures of the wrinkles and separation of the liner. The pool did not float as he thought (see pictures) and he agreed to help me in fixing the issues. I am closing the complaint as it may hurt Mr [redacted]'s business image which is not my intention . I trust that he would take care of my issues.

Review: My brothers car needed repairing when I called the business about the repair I was told by Angel that it would cost $1000 plus taxes to install a used transmission which they would purchase and install on my brothers [redacted] no other charges Angel also mention that they could tow the car to their place of business but never mention anything about charges for towing which I was later charged $75 in addition to the $1000 for a job that I was told by Angel would cost less than $1100 including taxes I was Charged a total of $1278.90. I do not know if any additional parts were installed on the said vehicle but I was charged for other things which were never discussed when went to get the car I was told point blank you are going to pay $1278.90 to take the car.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of 232.49 for parts not authorize and towing, towing is still a question because we were not advised of towing charges that is why I included it in the refund requested.

Response:

I am writing in response to the complaint involving billing and collection. The [redacted] belongs to [redacted]. We were told that [redacted] would be responsible for the bill. However, any thing pertaining to the vehicle, we discussed with the owner, [redacted]. I'm not sure where the confusion came in with the billing. But we discussed everything with Howard before we did anything. We always let our customers know of any repairs that are needed beforehand .. .so that the owner, Jeffrey J. Evans will not lose any money. All repairs were discussed with [redacted] including the tow. Of course, a tow is never free ... unless there may be some kind of warranty or bring back of the vehicle. Again, everything was discussed with Howard: and his words were, "well, it's gotta be done." A clutch was also replaced on the [redacted]; oosting approximately $300.00. [redacted] was informed that we did not charge him for the clutch; just a little extra labor added with his transmission installation . The owner of Evans Automotive, LLC, Jeffrey E[redacted], took a $300.00 loss for that particular part. When the two men picked up the vehicle on 5/19/16, [redacted] was explained the part was not added on the bill. [redacted] was quoted on May 5, 2016 for a used transmission for his [redacted], $1000.00 PLUS tax and fluids. He also needed two engine mounts and a tie rod end, priced all together at $132.49. [redacted] was informed he needed th;s extra work done; and he gave his ~go ahead". His used transmission did come with a ninety day warranty. I'm not sure where the confusion came in between these two men. I apologize for that. But I always discuss any work that is needed with the owner of the vehicle beforehand. And of course, after repairs are done on any vehicle , the balance due is paid in full. [redacted] was given a copy of the bill. All parts, labor and tow were outlined for him in detail. I apologize for any inconvenience. But again, everything was discussed, in full detail, with Howard Jones, the owner of the vehicle. He authorized all work that was done on his [redacted]. In regards, Angel (salesperson/secretary) and Jeffrey J. E[redacted] (owner).
