I got recently a snow removal contract by company named European Landscaping and Snow Removal owned by a guy named ***. I paid him $240 through email transfer to clean snow from January 20th 2020 to April 31st 2020. Given the fact Ottawa hasn’t been hit really hard with snow this year, the first time guy showed up to clean snow was on January 20th 2020 that’s when I signed contract with him. Since after that I have been calling him, texting him and first there was no response but later he kept lying to me that he is coming to clean the snow on January 26th 2020 and on February 7th 2020. Frustrated with his lies and excuses I finally asked him to return me my money and he said he won’t return any money and I should never call him back. Also *** said “it is not his problem”. If I knew he was just a *** I would have never paid him the money. Now my poor wife who is 29 weeks pregnant is helping me clean our driveway even we had someone paid someone to do it. Please beware of such *** and European Landscaping and Snow Removal should be banned from the list of accredited businesses. I have complete records for all communication, payment and email contract from the company

I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner has not made any attempt to resolve the issue and blocked me to receive any calls or messages. There was a request sent for money to be refunded but they declined the request. The matter needs immediate attention as business is making false claims of settlement.

This *** wanted his money refund in cash he was refund in full amount $240 dollars in cash on January 20 2020 I would like this addressed as soon as possible

I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner is consistently being dis-honest and making false claims. There was no money refunded in any method of payment and I had previously submitted a proof that e-transfer request was declined by the business owner. Please take serious action in cancellation of his license and report to authorities for ***. I believe *** will protect the consumers from these *** businesses and ensure other people are protected.
