European Boot and Shoe Repair

I would like to start by saying when Ms***, first brought in her purse to my shop for repair, I originally told her I did not know if I could even fix it because it was in such a state of disrepairShe insisted I try anywayThe purse is not new and I am not sure about these brass pieces she
is speaking ofI have a strict policy posted by singage in my shop that states, " I am not responsible for any repairs left over days"I was unaware that I had sewn the strap on backwards and offered to fix it, but Ms*** refused to let meAs far as the brass pieces I placed on the bag, there were no pieces with the bag when I started the repiar and I was trying to add what I had to make the purse look more completeI am a repair shop not a make something new from something old shopI cannot wave a magic wand and restore a older, purse that is falling apart and make it brand newI do not know about the pieces Ms*** is speaking of and the bag she brought into my shop was not worth $Maybe when it was new, but not in the state it was in when she brought it to me for repairAs far as her statement that her brass ware cannot be replaced by any store, all she needs to do is contact the manufacturer of the handbag and they should be able to send her replacement partsAgain I say after days I am NOT responsible for items left at my business for repairUsually we donate items that are left after days to shelters, or to the church to be given to the homelessSo she is very fortunate I even still had her bag after months
