Review: [redacted] was contracted to fabricate and install a kitchen counter and backsplash. The counter fabrication and installation was improper, not as promised, and caused additional and undisclosed expenses including poor workmanship, additional plumbing work/costs, damage to existing property, and weeks over the promised delivery time. [redacted] has denied responsibility for any of the additional costs, loss of value or additional time incurred as a result of their services. Following is a summary of the issues with the services rendered by [redacted] 1. Countertop and backsplash were not cut from the selected slab and they used a different slab for the backsplash than they did for the countertop.

2. Templating of sink cutout was not measured properly. Cutout for sink was not centered with existing plumbing. Plumbing needed to be extended/moved in order to meet the illogical placement of the merchant cutout and provided sink. Merchant did not explain measurement or discuss the possible plumbing movement/issues prior to commencement.

3. Installer hit and scratched stainless steel refrigerator when moving range.

4. Microwave was dented and scratched when installer pushed the backsplah onto the wall without it being properly centered with the microwave.

5. Work promised within 2 weeks, took 44 days + 7 dadditional days to fix plumbing as a result of the improper templating.

6. There were several large chips in finished stonework, some were repaired with epoxy

7. Improper caulking. Over 6 inches of spaces and holes in caulk lines which will need to be redone to prevent water damage to wall behind backsplash.Desired Settlement: Partial refund
