I do not agree with this response at all. I am still employed with Rocky Mountain Prestress. I was...
temporarily laid off due to lack of work, but was still receiving pay. When "lobel" called the HR department, they did not show me as a current employee, but they are also located at a different plant than myself so they are not up to date on the situation; they should have confirmed with my actual boss to get the factual information. My biggest concern with this whole process is the fact that we NEVER received paperwork and were told we would NOT receive paperwork until the remainder of the down payment was paid. We had no way of knowing what the stipulations were in the contract since we were never able to receive a copy. When I called back asking for a copy of ALL the paperwork (Lobel, Ethios, and side contract if we didn't pay the remaining down payment) Rolando told us he didn't have it. Well, where did it go? My guess is it was shredded. On top of all that, when we called Lobel they had absolutely no record of me. Again, as I stated previously, I had provided them with my full name, social, date of birth and anything else they could have possibly looked me up with. They had no record of any loan ever being filed with them in my name let alone an approval of any loan. IF that were the case the car was NEVER EVER ours in the first place. There's absolutely no reason we should have been able to drive the car off of the lot. I want to know what documents I signed for Lobel, when they have no record of me. I want to be provided with all the documents and I want my money back. There's no reason if the car was never ours in the first place we should lose out on our down payment especially after all the shady business practices we experienced.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/06/16) */
As we stated in our response, we have all sorts of customers we deal with daily and at the end of the day, our goal is to put customers in a vehicle they desire to purchase as long as the customer is able to afford it and we have financial approval from the finance companies. Having said that, there is not much Ethio Motors can do to help this particular customer in this case. We asked to customer to be honest and truthful on all the documents they provide to us in order to purchase the vehicle. Ethio Motors is not taking this matter to court, because at the return if the vehicle, the customer agreed with all the amount that was being charged to them for the amount of days and millage they used the vehicle and signed the "Cancellation Agreement Form". Ethio Motors is standing in the middle ground to solve this issue instead of taking the customer to court for Fraud and signing a legal document knowing he is no longer employed with the company. Ethio Motors is more then willing to provide a copy for the second time all the documents showing the reason why the financial company was unable to finance him.
