To provide some context, the eTherapi directory available at etherapi.com was recently updated to include therapists whose information is publicly available on the internet. This was done in response to the increasing demand we have from clients who are looking to meet with a new therapist, either in person or online.
When a client contacts a therapist who is not yet signed up to eTherapi, our team sends the therapist a note asking if she/he would like to accept the referral. After we make the introduction, therapist and client have full discretion on whether to start working together as well as if they prefer to meet in person or online, using eTherapi or some other channel of communication. I'd like to emphasize that the use of our search tool as well as any lead we pass ** therapists come completely free of charge. Therapists are charged only if they choose to use eTherapi to manage their practice using our HIPAA-compliant software or to meet patients online using eTherapi.
