costJanuary 6th, the vehicle was returned with a transmission shifting problem After miles since the original replacement and much diagnosis it was determined to replace the transmission under warranty, current mileage That was completed and that replacement unit has an internal noiseWe have ordered another replacement for the vehicle In the mean time Ms*** is driving the vehicle and we will call as soon as the 2nd replacement comes to our shopWe will then replace the unit at no cost and we agree to pay for a rental car while with vehicle is being serviced We have always treated Ms*** with the greatest respect and understand her frustrationWe also agree to pay Ms*** for her previous rental car expenseETE will pay up to $per day for her out of pocket expense The Acura MDX automatic transmission is one of the most complicated units to re-manufactureWe are sorry for this inconvenience and are dedicated to making this repair and process as smooth as possibleI, Vince Ferrera, VP Retail sales have left a phone message today for Ms*** and will oversee the replacement and warranty process for this vehicleETE builds approximately transmissions per day Occasionally a re-manufacturing process or purchased part can affect a series of transmissions in production I assure you this is getting out highest priority.
